Legend Ridge, located atop a gently rolling mesa just east of Somerset in Niwot, is the Boulder Valley’s newest custom home community. Legend Ridge offers 53 panoramic building sites … to the west, Legend Ridge’s hill top location provides dramatic Front Range mountain views of the Flatirons, Mount Meeker and Longs Peak … to the east, the development affords pastoral plains views.

Building sites at Legend Ridge range in size from .75 to .92 acres. Of the total 150 acres encompassing Legend Ridge, 50 acres are designated for development, and the remaining 100 acres are divided into three public and one private open space areas. The private open space area, consisting of 8.4 acres, is surrounded by the development, and will be maintained as a private open space park. The public open space areas, comprising more than 90 acres, encircle the community. These open space areas will be seeded in natural grasses and flora; an open space trail will circle the property.

Each of the 53 lots directly abuts one of the open space areas.

To maintain continuity and consistency in the community's character, Legend Ridge is covenant controlled, with architectural review of each home and a homeowner's association. Legend Ridge is serviced by Niwot Sanitation, Public Service Company, Left Hand Water District, Mountain View Fire District and the St. Vrain Valley School System.

The main entry into Legend Ridge is at Legend Ridge Trail and Highway 52 (Just east of IBM). The second street within the community is Little Raven Trail  … named after a famous Southern Arapaho Indian Chief who once roamed the area.
